Anna Silk
Anna Silk is a Canadian actress who was born on the 31st of January 1974. Her most well-known role is as Bo of the Showcase television series Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk, and Peter Silk are the fathers of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director and teaches drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers watching her mother while at work, and also attending play rehearsals. Silk was a prominent character in numerous commercials in her early years as an infant. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Arts with a major in Theater from St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas produced at the very least two early productions: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk moved to Toronto Canadian in November of 1999. Her next move was into Los Angeles California during the following decade. Seth Cooperman was her future wife when she began to meet him in 2007 at an Actors' Workshop located in Los Angeles. In 2009, the couple were wed in civil ceremonies in the month of December. When she converted to Judaism, they were married again in the Jewish ceremony on the 10th April 2011. The ceremony was held in Fredericton. Silk had a child that was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13 2013. Levi Aaron, her second child was born May 13 on the 13th of May in 2016. Silk's television work includes her role as Cassidy Holland in Being Erica and she won an Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. In 2009, she was cast in the main character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television show Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant while filming the final episode of the third season. She announced the pregnancy to fans during the Showcase Season Three pre-show special on January 6, 2013. The day before, on June 4, 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced that production was beginning on Season Four. On the 20th of June 2013 Silk declared on Twitter she was ready to return to the set of the show. Silk's portrayal of Bo and Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as lovers with the same gender on Lost Girl was named one among its most cherished Television Couples from CNN (Cable News Network) as well as named the top TV Couple of 2013. The same was done by E! Entertainment Television. In the wake of the popularity of the show, Silk has cultivated a huge presence on social media.
